This document describes how your personal and/or organisational data are treated by Planet Interim B.V. (hereinafter: Planet Interim) through its websites such as https://planetinterim.nl, https://planetinterim.com and the like (hereinafter also: the 'Sites'). We collect, use and share personal and/or organisational data to operate the Sites of Planet Interim. Planet Interim B.V., registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under number 34318863, is responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). By using the Site, you agree to the General User Agreement and terms of this Privacy Policy.


SUMMARY

If you create an account with Planet Interim as a professional, then:

  • you can share your profile, as a whole or in summary, with potential employers, with only logged-in organisations being able to see your name and contact you;
  • your personal information and settings will be used to match your profile with relevant assignments and organisations;
  • will receive your service messages, including relevant assignments, changes in terms and conditions, status updates and newsletters;
  • you accept that Planet Interim uses cookies and Google Analytics to monitor and optimise the performance of its websites in order to provide the best possible user experience;
  • know that Planet Interim does not share your personal data with third parties, except where it is required to do so by law.

USE OF INFORMATION FROM PLANET INTERIM

Personal and/or organisational data of other registered users of Planet Interim which you have collected on the Sites may only be used for responses to a particular posting or expression (assignment, banner) from that other registered user and not for sending advertising and/or for the collection and further processing of personal and/or organisational data of persons and/or organisations who have not given their consent. Planet Interim can prevent messages sent via the Sites by automatic means in order to hinder the spread of spam.


TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL OR ORGANISATIONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Planet Interim is entitled to give selected third parties access to interim assignments and/or advertisements placed by you to enable them to promote your expression on their website. If your statement contains personal or organisational data, these data may be part of (the part of) your statement that is visible on the website in question. If you want to avoid this, we recommend that you do not include any personal or organisational data in the advertisement itself, but only in the designated input fields. Without your consent, we will not sell or rent your personal and/or company data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose personal and/or organisational data to certain third parties (such as Police, Justice and rights holders) in order to comply with legal obligations or a court order or if this is necessary in the interests of preventing, detecting or prosecuting criminal offences (such as fraud, deception or swindling) or is necessary to enforce our policies or is necessary in the interests of protecting the rights and freedoms of others. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, we may share your personal and/or organisational data with another company. We will then inform you of this in a timely manner. In addition, we may engage third parties to process data for us under strict conditions of security and confidentiality, solely for purposes to be determined by us as described in this privacy policy.


USE OF COOKIES

When you visit the Sites, one or more cookies may be used. Cookies are small files that a website leaves on your computer. The Sites instruct the web browser you use to view websites (e.g. Edge, Chrome, Safari or Mozilla Firefox) to store these cookies on your computer. We use 'session cookies' to facilitate website navigation and 'permanent cookies' to save user settings. The ease of use of the Sites is thus optimised for you. Persistent cookies serve to put more targeted information on the Sites and to collect information for purposes of targeted communication, such as providing service information about our products and services and targeted marketing. You have the option to receive a warning when a cookie is placed and/or to refuse cookies. You can set your web browser to do so. Consult the manual of your web browser to do so. However, you will then no longer be able to use all the features of the Sites. The cookie is valid for a maximum of 60 days. Cookies cannot damage your computer or files stored on your computer.


USING GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Planet Interim uses Google Analytics to monitor and optimise the performance of the Sites to achieve the best possible user experience. We have enabled IP anonymisation feature in Google Analytics to ensure that we do not store your IP with Google.


Gathering DATA

When you use the Sites, we collect and process the following (personal) data:

  • of visitors who have created a 'Planet Interim account' (registered users), we collect and process log-in data, information about assignments, information about work experience (in addition to completed tasks and responsibilities, job and assignment names fulfilled and also names of current and former employers and employers and employers), education data, any bids for interim assignments, name, and, where specified, postal code, foreign country (if applicable), telephone number, call options and payment options for paying interim professionals and/or employers;
  • of all visitors to the Sites we collect and process standard information about internet use, statistics on page views, traffic to and from Planet Interim;
  • of interim professionals and employers who communicate via the Sites we collect IP addresses and e-mail addresses;
  • of advertisers, we collect the IP address, e-mail address and, where specified, name, address details, telephone number, advertising details and (depending on the service used) sometimes financial information, such as payment methods used;
  • of participants in promotional campaigns we collect and process name and address data, e-mail address and entries for the relevant campaign;
  • of people who visit the Sites or who send a message to Planet Interim via the Sites, we collect and process IP address, name, e-mail address, PC operating data, hardware data such as device screen size (for the purpose of 'responsive design' to improve the user experience on a smarthphone) and the question or comment;
  • in response to notifications, we may process information about disputes between interim professionals and employers and/or advertisers (including personal and/or organisational data) and information about (alleged) infringements of intellectual property rights and other unlawful actions

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

Your data will be used to:

  • provide our services such as the provision of an online platform on the Sites for stakeholders in the field of interim management (independent professionals, employers and advertisers), forums, tools such as the Rate Indicator, the Interim Agreements Generator, overviews of useful links, company presentations, mini-sites, intermediary organisations and promotional campaigns if you participate in them;
  • promote safe contact through Planet Interim and follow up on tips and/or reports regarding unlawful conduct through the Sites;
  • answering questions from users;
  • recording reports of disputes and (alleged) infringements of intellectual property rights as well as promoting dispute resolution;
  • providing (personal) data to certain third parties (such as Police, Justice and rights holders) if we see reason to do so on the basis of laws and regulations or this Privacy Policy;
  • enforce compliance with our Terms of Use;
  • collecting fees;
  • measuring interest in Planet Interim's services and promoting ease of use of the website;
  • informing users about its own services and updates;
  • making targeted own offers and sending own advertising messages and
  • several other purposes as specifically described when collecting the information.

MARKETING

We may use the data obtained through the placement of expressions such as interim assignments, banners, minisites, company presentations, profiles or advertisements on Planet Interim to send you offers or contact you by telephone for similar products or services from Planet Interim or products or services that are an extension of Planet Interim. By registering yourself and/or your organisation with Planet Interim, you have declared that you agree to our user agreement and these privacy regulations. If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from Planet Interim, you can simply indicate this by sending us a message to this effect at any time via our contact page.


ACCESS, CHANGE AND DELETE

Only by logging in can you access your My Account Dashboard and view, change or delete your personal and/or organisational data. Request a new password here should you forget it. On the other hand, in accordance with the Personal and/or Organisational Data Protection Act and, as of 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), you can also contact customer service via our contact page to view your personal and/or organisational data that we store and that is not directly viewable on the Sites. We may charge a fee for this, but this amount will not exceed the amounts permitted by law. If your data are factually incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant to the purposes for which we process your data, you may request us to amend or delete your data. We delete personal and/or organisational data when we no longer need them for the purposes described above. We retain personal and/or organisational data to the extent permitted by law for dispute resolution, enforcement of our policies and to stop malicious actors.

After you have permanently terminated your Planet Interim account, and you no longer have any obligations towards Planet Interim, such as, for example, fees owed to Planet Interim, your profile will be cleansed of information traceable to you no later than 30 days after termination. For example, your name, work experience and contact details will be removed. However, we are obliged to keep any invoices sent to you in our records.

We would like to point out to interim professionals that their CV will be visible on the internet after registration, initially without contact details. Potential employers can make selections based on the profiles with names but without contact details. Only employers who are interested in the services of an interim professional can download the CV with contact details only after they have logged in and are thus known to us. Please be aware of what you publish on the internet via our Sites. We therefore advise interim professionals to carefully check the visible profile via the account environment after they have logged in and registered.


SECURITY

We take various technical and organisational measures (including encryption, passwords, physical security) to secure your personal and/or organisational data against loss or against any form of unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure or otherwise unlawful processing. However, we cannot guarantee anything.

GENERAL
