Spatial Planning & Traffic Engineering
  • Background as a Disrepair Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Repairs Surveyor or Maintenance Surveyor, gained within the social housing sector
  • Previous experience at a local authority, housing association or other public housing organisation
  • Strong knowledge of legislation relating to housing disrepair and landlord obligations
  • Demonstrable skill in diagnosing building defects and preparing specifications
  • Experience in managing contractors and overseeing repair works
  • Knowledge of damp and mould investigation, building pathology and reactive maintenance
  • Strong communication skills with residents, contractors and legal representatives
  • A relevant surveying qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor's or equivalent) is a plus
